Freshwater Beach is one of Sydney's quieter beaches with a relaxed, local feel. It’s known for its history in the Australian surf scene, as the birthplace of surfing in Australia. The beach has great waves, a good selection of cafes, and a lovely atmosphere. It’s a peaceful escape with a mix of surf and relaxation.
